RESULTS OF THE COMPETITION IN NETWORK TRAFFIC ANALYSIS

Starting from the mid of May, competition in network traffic analysis was organized targeting Bachelor students of “Fundamentals of Internet and Networks” course held at Politecnico di Milano. 

Organizers prepared a network traffic dataset, which participants had to analyze and provide required results.

The structure of the competition defining tasks for the students was organized in three phases:

  1. Analysis of obligatory tasks, which were defined by the competition organizers;
  2. Creative analysis, where students had the freedom to perform any analysis of the provided dataset, relevant from the network point of view;
  3. Presentation of results.

In the end, the jury created by the two Ph.D. students and professors from the “Fundamentals of Internet and Networks” course, decided the winners.

  • Best code development work
